CN Dreams Interview on Oct 27, 2017

Calgary Korean Health Advocacy Society (president Leeyong Khil), is hosting the Calgary Korean Health Fair on Saturday, November 4th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Dalhousie Community Centre (5432 Dalhart Rd NW Calgary).  


This will be their 3rd annual event and it is full of exciting content just like the last year. 
There will be flu vaccinations, prostate cancer screening blood test, blood pressure, and blood sugar level check, dietician consultations, pharmacists one on one consultations and many more.  Also, there will be free massages and haircuts.  The haircuts will only be offered to low-income seniors 65 years and older, and the flu shots will be offered to anyone over 9 years of age.  Please bring your Alberta Health Care Card with you if you are interested in getting the flu shot at this event.    

Here is the schedule for the workshops:

12:10 pm Dr. Hyup Lee: Sleep, an essential part of active living
12:50 pm Hyewon Jin: Benefits of ballet and learn the basics
1:40 pm Dr. Hyunsuk Choi: Understanding Stroke and management
2:20 pm Gwangho Choi: Effective exercises in our daily lives


There will be an interpreter available at every booth to be able to communicate in Korean, but it will be offered in English so anyone in the community can join as well.  Furthermore, there will be a small gift for every participant as well as door prizes to be given away.  There will be a food truck for people to purchase food if needed and chances to purchase a medical terminology handbook which was published by the Calgary Korean Advocacy Society.
